This programme is composed of seven individual modules that will be repeated on an annual rolling basis, February to October inclusive, to provide a flexible approach to training for the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine. The syllabus for the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine is covered in the first six modules, which focus on teaching delegates the required technical knowledge. The final module is divided into two parts and runs approximately two weeks before each of the relevant parts the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine exam. This last module focuses on exam technique and provides delegates with the opportunity to experience a Mock Exam as well as practice their exam technique and revise key areas by participating in extensive practical workshops.

In order to deliver the highest standard of training, teaching will be conducted by the programme directors and where appropriate external guest speakers. The content of each module will follow the current syllabus and guidance for the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine issued by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.

Delegates do not need to attend all seven modules of this programme and can attend any number of modules on a flexible basis according to individual educational needs. Delegates can enrol on any number of these modules at any time during the calendar year. If delegates wish to complete the whole programme, i.e. all seven modules, this can be done at the delegate’s own pace. All seven modules could be completed in the same calendar year or attendance at modules could be divided over two or more years according to individual educational needs.
